Nomura Research Institute (NRI), an IT solutions provider headquartered in Japan, recently acquired Anshin Software (Anshinsoft), an IT consultant firm based in India. The move was made in an effort to expand their global presence, particularly for the purpose of applying their computer systems for transactions of a financial nature. The Indian headquarters of Anshinsoft, renamed Nomura Research Institute Financial Technologies India, becomes the Japanese corporation’s 18th branch outside of Japan.
The acquisition doesn’t come to a surprise to many familiar with both companies’ operations, as they’ve already been working together extensively for a decade.
According to their website, Anshinsoft provides consulting and service in the following areas:
Technology Architecture
Business Analysis and System Design
Application Software Development & Testing
Outsourced Product /Technology Development
Ongoing Maintenance and Technical Support
Software Testing Services for Capital Market Applications

Troubleshooting (L1/L2/L3 Support)
Bug fixing/Issue resolving
Releasing patches
It employs a staff of over 180. Although it is based in India, the company was founded in Silicon Valley, California back in 1998.
The future looks bright for the technology industry in India. The million dollar investment takes place just a few months after NRI established the Nomura Research Institute India.
